Sometimes I need that kick up the Ass to get myself out to take photos and I feel having someone or a group of people to go out taking photos with occasionally might be good. So if anyone in the UK would fancy going out or getting a group of people together to go out it would be great to hear from you. I can usually be found in the thumbshare chat room or you could send a note through here. :)

Well it had been a while since i had used DA more than once in a month and then *BANG* i seem to be hooked on it again...this always happens to me, i seem to be hooked on it in dribs and drabs...not a constant flow of 'hookedness' (yeah, that is a word..for today anyways). It's been great to get loads of support, comments and faves..a BIG thank you to you all.

New camera II

0 min read
Well after getting my camera I finally had a day to experiment with it and see what i can learn from it. I recently bought some filters as well, Hoya R72 infra red, Hoya Cir polarising and Hoya graduated grey filter. I decided to go to Alton water, it's a resovoir quite close to where I live. I spent about 5 hours walking around spending a lot of time photographing a few things, really taking my time with settings, still the majority turned out too dark to be used and i hadn't noticed a mark on my filter which showed up pretty badly in most of the shots. Its still a big learning curve for me though switching over to DSLR and using filter

Thank you. I have to say that your gallery, of which I had browsed before, and I am doing again, it is a lot of character from what I can tell. Continue with the great work and keep me posted. Have a great week as well.
Sincerely,
Kerstin Marie
Wow, Thank you very much, and thank you for the watch, I should have some new work over the next day or so, I've planned a trip this evening but the clouds so far aren't on my side.

Thanks again

Gav
When things do not seem to be in your favor, try another perspective on what you capture. It can take you far, trust me.
Always,
Kerstin Marie
I have my plans for tonight, I'll do my best to at least get one image out of it. If I can't do that then I'm in the wrong profession. :)
